Remarkably similar to his previous work Gods and Monsters (1998), Bill Condon gives us another look at an old man recounting his past and trying to reconcile with his regrets. What we find in Mr. Holmes is an engrossing, warm, and oftentimes funny film about atonement and memory. (more…)

Ah, summer. School is out, and Comic-Con is in session. The full trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) was released only hours ago. In this post, I’ll describe what the trailer shows us and point out a few observations.
